How to rectify the crack on the LCD of Toshiba Qosmio X505

Hi, I have recently brought an laptop from the Ebay, the laptop which I am talking about is of Toshiba Qosmic X505, here the thing is that I am very much happy with the performance of the laptop, but since it these recent day I had dropped the laptop, and a crack is been created on the LCD monitor of it which is providing the display problem in it, so I just wanted to know that is there any way that will help me in replacing the crack which is been developed on the screen of the laptop, it is really irritating me as I am always getting this display issue in it.

One thing you can do is by just going on the same website, the Ebay, here you can see all the possible thing that you want to buy in the second hand, the thing is someone must have uploaded the device on the Ebay which will help you in getting the specific device part what you are searching for, but the thing is it is very time consuming and also the time taken for the part to reach to your place is very much high, so if you can wait for it then you can go for it, since you had recently purchased the laptop from Ebay it is not advisable to give it for the replacement to the manufacturer, since it will cause you as much as the new laptop only, because when you give it to the servicing, all the servicing of the part is been done by them.

Do your friends or any of the colleagues in the locality or anywhere has the similar kind of the model present with them, it is necessary that if they have it then your work will be done in a quick and efficient manner, once you have found any of them having the same model and they are ready for swapping the case of the model, then carefully remove the screws that are present in it, once you have done that then be careful as they are very delicate in handling any of the live damage done on them, once happened then repeat the same thing with them and be happy with your new second hand cover for your laptop.

As the crack is been developed on your laptop, the only thing can be done is by replacing the old ones with the new ones, I had seen many people having these kind of the problem in the cover of the laptops and the computers, since in computers you can still manage to get rid of it, but it is not the same with the laptops, I think you just go for buying any of the cover that are present in the local shops in your locality, this thing in some places is high in price and in some place it is low in price, so you have to decide which one is the most affordable to you. Once you have done that then the replacing the cover is been by you, but wait if you are not sure then tell the same guy who sold the cover to fix it for you, since they are almost charging the same thing, for the cover that you are paying for.

Ho there, since you had purchased the second hand laptop from Ebay right so I don’t think that there will be any of warranty in it, so did you see any of the warranty plan for the same, as the Toshiba people also give some warranty for the device which has completed its warranty period, so according to you please take some of the warranty plan, this is very much helpful in the future, as anything can be happened to the laptop, so it is not good for buying the individual parts from outside the market, as they can be of bad quality and also the thing is that your laptop will be in a secure manner with the company.

Did you tried using any of the thing with the broken cover of your laptop, see I was also facing this problem in the past, as I tried to come out of it in a very unusual way, the thing I tried is by applying Vaseline on the broken part of the LCD cover, I don’t know what happened to me at that time, I just thought that just try something, and I tried this thing, but when I tried for the same it just gave me a fine display, I know that this is not a permanent solution but it something that will help me in saving lot of time and money.
