ati 5650 vs ati 6370

Hello Geeks,

I am not a hard core gamer but still spend couple of hours everyday playing heavy games.

I am now buying a laptop and need to know which of these two graphic cards is suited.

I have shortlisted 2 laptops.
HP ProBook (Core i5) that comes with ati 6370m
Sony VAIO E series (core i5) which comes with ati 5650m

Very confused in making a final decision.. Need Help..

If you ask me then i will advise you to go with the Sony VAIO E series (core i5) which comes with ati 5650m as this is having the better feature with the price better then the HP Probook. The specification which is offered by the Sony VAIO E series (core i5) is lots more efficient then the HP one. So if you can then go with my advise.

Thanks a ton jacek for the genuine advice.. Even I am thinking to go for VAIO.. the only reason to go for HP pro book is its stability..

As I have not heard more about VAIO E series..
Also, Vaio has serious battery problem and its delicate to handle..

I have never heard about the battery problem in Sony Vaio E Series. From where did you get this information. Anyways if its comes to handling of the device then i can tell you that its upto you, How you handle the things. If you play with the Sony Safe then you will get the stability. How can you assure about the HP probook if its fallen from your hand and got some break. So its upto you. If your having the genuine device then and the genuine battery then you won't get any problem with the same. Anyways its upto you for any laptop selection. Enjoy

No offence here but when I said battery problem I meant lesser battery life compared to Dell and HP.. may be because of the heavy GPU..

I, myself have almost decided to go for SONY VAIO and your suggestion has played a major role in it too..
