Can I run GTX 580 and 8800 GTX for Physx

I currently comprise a system which is utilizing 8800GTX's in SLI. I have the below queries and would like a few ideas or suggestions:
    1. Will I be able to sprint GTX580 and utilize an 8800GTX for Physx?
    2. If so, I think that you will not utilize the SLI Bridge
    3. Except DX11, will I observe a vast performance increase by acquiring and utilizing GTX580 as in-lieu of my 8800GTX's presently in SLI?

    Code:

Only in case, here are my specs:
    Q9550 quad core
850watt SLI Ready PS with abundance on the 12v rail
    4 GB patriot 2000 MHz
    Evga 790i ultra motherboard
    8800gtx SLI
I would be eager to sell either or both of the 8800gtx's with unique wrapping and so on. If deemed ineffective to my system should I improve, except (1) or both can be utilized for either Physx or extra monitor and so on.

No SLI bridge required. I would sell both 8800’s; the 580 will consume any game you throw at it for mealtime, no require for a Physx card. Utilize the Extra wealth for a platform improves. You will on the other hand sprint into a restricted access with the CPU; overclock it to the extent that you can go. I am going P67 for myself the instant the boards became visible.

    1. Yes you can, but others have placed there is extremely small to no advantage with utilizing that gen card for physic. There are posts covering it you can explore for.
    2. Nope, no require for SLI Bridge with different cards. Infect it could cause problems if you did between conflicting generations of cards.
    3. Yes you will perceive an enhancement. Other posts once more searchable to discover them, demonstrate that a 480 was equivalent or bigger than 2x 8800 series cards in addition to improved then 2x 280's. A 580 with all cores currently unlocked would be improved too.

Depending on your cooling options put in a gentle overclock to your CPU's and GPU's and I think you will be agreeably astonished with your present game performance. Be certain while you’re comparing performance of your card against others which you’re matching similar build systems. Don't anticipate getting the similar performance from a 790 board against an I7 build. These cards will scream up until they are limited by additional system components. One thing to remember is that the present release of drivers and the most recent beta are containing problems in a few games. In other words Driver and game maintain will be improving just possibly not at such a rate as a few of us would akin to. Being on the wounding edge does have a few drawbacks like the driver maturity but I think it as well shows how much possible the 580's have up till now to reach.

The Q9550 stock is a 2.8, I have handled a steady 3.4 utilizing Prime and sprint stability tests on my memory. It can sprint 24/7 at that overclock. The overclock assists extremely, but I have no require for it to remain overclocked since my present system appears to sprint the whole thing which I play, at typically high settings, which is the cause why I am here asking the queries regarding the require to improve. The 8800gtx's are no slump given their age, and appear to handle the majority applications to the fullest, but I know it is time to improve and I am grateful for your responds.
