Want to reset the GTX 480 BIOS

I am using a system with the following configuration which I am describing here that is i7-860 2.8GHz which has ASUS P7P55D motherboard and 2GB RAM. Actually the problem is my system BIOS that is GTX 480 is overclocked by its own hardware I am not sure is this happed or not but it seems that it is the only problem I am suffering from. I am searching the method for going back to the default clocks with this one GTX 480 PNY which I am using. Please help me.

As you have described that your bios are overclocked and you are getting a wrong clock in resulting you want to go back to the default clock. Before the solution want to ask you that which clock you are using to measure the clock speed and what is the clock speed you are getting and what are the problem you are getting with it.

If you clutter by means of the bios on your 480 you might block your card and generate a very exclusive paperweight, like others have confirmed to run driver sweeper and then set up a preceding revision of drivers. Download Fur mark and utilize that at stock situation to observe if your card is still artifacting, if it does its need justification for RMA and because these are enclosed by a incomplete lifetime guarantee you shouldn't contain any doubts.

I think you need to reset the bios so if you contain a mother board manual if you don’t have that then go get one. The other choice is drag the onboard battery away for about 30 minutes; these will origin the bios to go away back to the evasion settings. If you contain a manual, you will become aware of on the board figure that here are three pins. On some boards it’s called the CMOS RAM apparent division. Pins 1 & 2 are usual mode and pins 2 & 3 will plain the CMOS (BIOS). Most boards are shipped by means of pins 2 & 3 jumper.
