    Inspiron 15R: defective video output

From few days I am facing a very typical problem in my Dell Inspiron 1420, regarding the graphical performance. Before I am giving the machine specification, which is Intel dual core processor, running with windows vista home premium along with that 2GB RAM and 256GB hard disk and 128mb Nvidia Geforce is attached in the machine. The problem is about the screen resolution, which is properly configured as per my opinion. But not getting up to video output, and this one mainly feel while I used to watch any video in machine. I can understand whether it is graphic issue, I mean to reading machine to the player where I watch the video. I am using VLC media player. Though I also tried by another video file but this one also having same problem, what should I do? Any suggestion on this?

It sounds like as the graphic driver so I would like to suggest you to update the graphics driver in your machine. so as per my opinion, by this process you will definitely resolve the issue. For that right click on my computer and go to the properties window, under that expand driver tab, it will appear the all drivers name in a drop down list, which will appear in a drop down list. Select the driver which you is installed in your machine. Right click on it and select the update option. And if you are having the driver disk with your machine then before that try once to re-install the driver from the disk, but before that un-install the existing driver. Though you also can do this after double click on the installation icon, it will redirect you for the un-installation first. After done any one of the above process reboot the machine and play the video by which you are facing the problem. I hope any one of them will definitely help you.

Though you mentioned that the problem is only occurred during the payback of video in VLC media player, then as per opinion this problem is might be occurred for player. Try to resolve the issue, by re-install the player, first of all got the control panel and under that go to control panel and select the program and feature option, under that select VLC player and either right click on it on in the top of the windows select REMOVE/UN-INSTALL option. It will ask for the windows permission, click on yes and proceed to un-installation process. After the un-install process, remove the temporary and directory files physically from the machine. It might be requiring for the reboot, if it happens then do this. On the second time install the player again in your machine. I hope from this time it will not create any problem in the video performance. Along with that I recommend you to apply latest version of codec file into the player, look for the player compatibility version. Sometimes these type problem occurs for outdated codec file.

The resolution that you applied in your machine, is might not be correct one. The resolution is depends on the video graphic interface. Or you don’t load the specific driver according to the machine specification. Make sure that the driver is automatically runs with the laptop environment. Update the driver version or replace with the latest version. Along with that make sure, the video connector with machine I/O port is working properly. Try once to change the resolution from advanced setting tab which is should be higher than the resolution that you are currently using. Because sometimes I found that for not properly connector with the monitor this type of problem may occur. If there is a problem in the out connection then this will also might be damage the display screen which is attached with your machine. it might be any firmware affect. So specifically is recommend you to un-install the toolbar's those are comes with different types of software package. One of my fried was facing the similar go for the research on this issue, and after a deep search, he found that there is problem in some kind of virus, which is effect particularly the player where he was playing video.
