Asus Eah4850 Vs Msi Gtx 460

I am currently having ASUS EAH4850 512 Mb on which I have tried to play Crisis but it was lagging so frequently that it made me to think for buying a new graphic card for my desktop computer. I am looking forward to buy a MSI GTX 460 cyclone 1gb which I guess would be better to play Crisis or Call Of duty. This desktop machine has an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 with the 4 Gb of RAM. Can you guys suggest me that how MSI GTX 460 cyclone 1gb would be working and how it performs? Will this be an enough upgrade for my desktop?
