    For Blu-Ray movies: 24hz vs 60hz

Friends, I have owned a Samsung LED TV. This LED TV is only capable of displaying 60hz. I have heard that if I record the movies at 24hz and want to play that in 60hz then there is a pulldown or something to do that. So I want to ask that which one will be better for me? There is low blur on on both but I am not able to decode which one will be better. Please give me some professional answer. Thank you very much for reply.

This process is called as 3:2 pull down. This method is used for transferring movies to videos. This transfer is 30 fps and not 60. It will be better for you to show the movies at the rate by which it was captured. But then also if you want to do the conversion then you can use 3:2 pulldown method. And for blur on the movies, I think that your LCD is not synchronized. I hope this will help you to clear your doubt.

You can use the combo filter which is used to get proper resolution of DVD’s and may of the other digital resources. It corrects the loss in color quality when TV Singles are rendered by layering the version of images on the top of one and otter. The very important thing about the combo filter is that they are of three types and here are the types:
    1. Two-line comb filter
    2. Three-line comb filter
    3. 3D YC comb filter

If you don't use the combo filter it will show you only half the quality of the original picture quality. Combo filter is totally waste for you if you have TV and DVD player which support a higher quality connection.

You will find that 3:2 Pulldown Processing has a good feature for smoothing the picture. It increases the quality of the picture by correcting the errors in frame rate. Frame rate is nothing but the number of images that is to be displayed in one second it just like a flipbook. 3:2 pulldown process corrects the error when you are transferring the film from one format to another format.

As far as I know that is we have higher hertz then it will give the smoother picture. Is there anyone who has suggestion for this? Please reply.

If you want better picture quality then you should set your ps3 setting according to your TV’s capability. You have to do this till you don’t have Samsung 71 or 81 series, Sony xbr4 or xbr 5, sharp d92. Once you own this you can set the setting on 60 Hz. I hope this will provide you the clear idea to get the picture clearer.
