Search BIOS mod for GTX 260

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a Bios when it works 100% of the fan to regulate below 40%. I'm going crazy and have already started a thousand things and also have two threads, unfortunately without success. I am looking now explicitly a BIOS which allows the fan with less than 40% operate. Preferably, 25% at about 700-800 RPM. I would be grateful for something like a thousand if one would send me something.

So I had GTX 280 from Zotac, have also just tried this on a different bios to regulate. But have found nothing . Also I would like to tell you that you have not mentioned your BIOS version along with the specifications that you are using for your system.?! So it would be better to provide some solutions, if you provide us with the BIOS version and also the specifications used by your system.

    • Zotac GeForce GTX 260 65nm @ 730/1550/1180
    • Antec 300 (Be Quite Silent Wings USC),

Already even tried NiBiTor to stop it?? Do you have the stock cooler it? Most models with the reference fan which is then not in spite of BIOS mod. The fan itself will not respond to the recruitment and turns with more minutes. 40%. I had on my GTX285. Is a known problem. it is not mandatory at the BIOS. Is not necessarily a problem, but it is willed by nVidia, so the card does not overheat, if any noobs get the idea to run the fan permanently on to low speed. There were a few Asus cards that also went with the default fan below 40%.

Yes tried with evga and also with NiBiTor, then he has shown even though 25% above GPU-Z but still ran with the speed the same as 40%. Zotac've contacted, but give absolutely no support in this direction. Yes something I've also read, because there may be a risk that the fan is not at all then more starts or so, but I read the additional feasts have the get it. So I wanted to give up yet.

Yes really is a shame with the new MSI and EVGA Afterburner Tools. Limited to 30% of the software already here. Otherwise, After Burner is already cool with the graphic setting of the fan controller. That is why I still use the good old Rivatuner, I shall be 0% :rofl2: 30% of me is still too loud. Only 22% of the Accelero is really quiet. Otherwise, I have programmed more fans then the profiles are activated depending on the temperature. Finish is the automatic fan control.
