Nvidia GTX 285 VS ATi 5850

I am planing to buy a Graphic card. While looking for the same on the Internet i come to know about the two graphic card which are Nvidia GTX 285 and ATi 5850. Both are having same performance but the big price difference. The Ati one is having high price then the NVIDIA. When performance are same then why it is charging extra for Ati? A suggestion must be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This is because the Ati has number of reliable user then the nVidia. The Ati one is little advance with the feature no matter the functionality or the performance are same as in the nVidia. If you ask me then i will go with the Ati one as it is having better functionality then the nVidia one. So if you like then go with the Ati.

I have gone through the review of the both the graphic device and let me tell you that there is not much difference between both of the device. Performance wise also both are same but still the price hike is little annoying. But let me tell you, when both are having same performance then why to waste more money on ATI.

I will advise you to go with the nVidia one which is having the nice functionality with the gaming also. I am not aware of the Ati as i am not the user of the same but let me tell you that i am not getting any issue with the Nvidia GTX 285. I have been using it since last year and not having any issue with the same. If you want can go with the same.
