4850 GDDR5 not on Sapphires site

I am searching for 4850 GPU from Sapphire. For that I had visited the official site but does not find any solution for this there. On searching some site what I found is that the Radeon HD 4850 and HD 4870 are distinguished mainly by memory that is used at 993 MHz GDDR3 one hand and 1800 MHz GDDR5 other. I need some more information on the same.

The Radeon HD 4870 has a share of computing power and texture filtering and a write speed of the pixels 20% higher. This is due to the difference in frequency of the team who RV770, 750 MHz and 625 MHz one side to the other. On the other hand, the Radeon HD 4870 shows a higher memory bandwidth by 81%, a huge gap. There are some sites which offers you full test on the same.

If you are looking for comparison for the card then you might need to search a bit more on internet. The performance of this card with Radeon 4870 will give you a good average in the performance and the difference is related almost to increase the frequency of the GPU. Unfortunately, our Radeon HD 4850 have proved unstable at this frequency, despite an increase in voltage. So there might be some major differences.

The card embeds 512MB GDDR5 RAM 900 MHz (3600 MHz DDR5) on a 256-bit memory bus, and a GPU overclocked factory to 700 MHz, 650 MHz reference cons. Essentially, this makes it a 4870 with less than 50 MHz on the GPU. I am not sure why it is not mentioned on the site but luckily there are more other sites where you can get the review for the same.

The card is introduced by Palit and it is equipped with ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR5. This is the precise frequencies of the Sonic Special Edition which are not known to much and but you can expect higher card on the other models by AMD. In fact, the card requires two 6 pin PCIe cables and a power of 450 W. It therefore resembles a lot of Radeon HD 4870 Its cooler is identical to that which equips the HD 4850 Sonic Standard Edition It offers complete connectivity with DVI, VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort.

AMD has a nice advantage over Nvidia in terms of supporting new memories. It is therefore not surprising to see AMD achieve the first on the market with a product which integrates a new type of memory. The same thing more or less every new type of memory consumption and a smaller rise in frequency facilitated. The increased frequency is beneficial since it leads directly against a higher bandwidth that allows the GPU to work much nicely especially when anti-aliasing is used.

If you check properly then all types of ram whether DDR, DDR2, GDDR3, GDDR4 or GDDR5 send all 2 bits per cycle. The difference is that using more memory banks can increase their frequency of transmission of data. This happens without pushing a lot much of frequency of memory banks. Another interesting thing I found that the memory of this card has an error detection. This should leave more room for overclocking.
