Gigabyte Radeon HD 4650 AGP 8x driver issues

I have just bought this card, and downloaded the drivers from the official amd's website and installed and going very well, when I restart the driver then I found that that was not installed within properly. When I move into the Device Manager and select update driver, it will follow through the process of installing then flash to a black screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner, Do you have any suggestions regarding this ? I am working on windows XP Home 32bit..

As according to your system configuration, you need to go for the right selection of the device driver and after downloading the driver, you need to go for the device manager section and uninstall the driver first and then perform a fresh installation of the driver..

In case, if you are not getting proper response then you need not to enter into the Device manager for radeon. Just perform the re-installation of radeon driver from amd's website with the proper location and restart then after start to play the game and go ahead

A hotfix has been made to help for the resolve the following problem:

* Issues with DirectX and ATI Radeon HD 4xxx, ATI Radeon HD 3xxx or ATI Radeon HD 2xxx series of AGP graphics cards.
* "No compatible hardware found" error message during installation of ATI Catalyst drivers from the AMD download basket and can be obtained from the home page. If you wanted to download the ATI Catalyst AGP Hotfix, you also can get it from the homepage and proceed with same manner of installation.

There is one thing that I wanted to mention here is that this driver is given as is and is not compatible with the AMD. It has not passed through the full AMD testing, and is only suggested for those people who are having this problem as stated above.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I am getting failed to this in any situation and also I tried everything to resolve this issue but again and again the installation getting washed automatically from the system and I don't understand that it is just going on because of the compatibility issues or what. I have done the reinstallation of the driver and did it with the same procedure and taken the help of AMD's website support and completed three times installation procedure and still it is not working in well manner . I just reload and get a message from ATI stating without the drivers that is installed...

That's why, I told you that you need to go for the proper selection of the drivers that can be compatible with your configured system and I am sure you wouldn't get any difficulties from now onwards. If you will go though these suggested links for downloading of the proper and compatible driver then you should go ahead for this :

Last year , in the month of November, I have changed my previously configured AGP 8x video card ( geforce 6600 ) and replaced with the new one as Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 4650 . In that situation, I was able to use only 8.66 RC9 from Gigabyte website : http://www.gigabyte.eu/Support/VGA/D...ctID=3088&ver=

And the disk provided with that as version , ver 8 also . I have tried to install the version 9 and currently 10.4 and not getting success :

- Driver not detected
- pixelate pictures
- Looks very strange resolutions of the screen where as running with the Full HD LCD.
- Color quality 1 bit etc

Operating system compatibility with the Wind XP 32 , SP 3 Version 8.66 it`s going very well with one exception: something going on with the driver conflicts within the ATI and my sound card.So primarily, I have to install the ATI driver and then after get ready to install the Creative driver , but it is not a large issue for me . Although 8.66 it is going fine and I like the status of the power that my latest implemented video card brings this with my previous system , I would like to benefit of the latest drivers . I didn't go this issue with nVIdia drivers , so,do you any idea about requirements to do something ? ATI is aware about this issues and in near future will handle them ?

Am I going in wrong way to concern with the deinstallation of the previously installed driver ? I uninstall entire components related to the ATI from Control Panel Add/Remove , and then I use ccleaner .

I have some problems and the primary problem is that the GTA San Andreas is not getting start with 8.732 display driver . I have performed the uninstallation of the game and then installed the same again there is no such effect of that and not getting start . When I run with the 8.66 driver then it was going very fine . Do you know any fix regarding this, Would you please tell me the solution for this issue.

I got the some close fix from the Google , I had to remove the GTA SA configuration file known as " gta_sa.set " from Documents and Setting , and currently it`s again peace on Earth
