Need 1152x864 resolution on ati catalyst support

I installed catalyst 10.2 for my 4850 on win 7 64 bits, and then I might not locate 1152x864 in the declaration list. Why is that I actually necessitate 1152x864 and it's a standard 4:3 declaration, isn't it. In the list there are: /800x600/848x480/1024x768/1280x720/1280x960/1280x1024. My system arrangement is amd athlon64 x2 3800+/sapphire hd4850/4g ddr2.

No it’s not a customary OS declaration. Add it with Powerstrip or mod the driver info file (utilize forum search) Does not mean it’s an OS customary or that it is in your monitors EDID. It would not let me facilitate bezel management in view of the fact that my 3 displays are not indistinguishable. Be able to someone with bezel organization running post their profile.xml (located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles\) so I be able to locate the pertinent tags and force add it to my profile.

You cannot utilize the bezel management with none indistinguishable displays (similar screen size and declaration). The pixel declaration and density have to be within a 5% tolerance of every additional. I am working with 2 Dell 2408WFPs and 1 Dell 2407WFP. They are the entire at the similar declaration. They are the entire the similar panel size, then are the entire the similar dpi and are the entire the similar refresh.

Then one of them has the incorrect EDID, you have to utilize the Moninfo program and verify if the entire 3 give the accurate screen dimensions. If not then utilize this to accurate it. I tried mucking approximately with the EDIDs for hours with it. My 2407 had its dimension listed another way than my 2 2408's. I misrepresented it to match my 2 2408's and it tranquil does not work. It basically determine to not give you the alternative to facilitate bezel management. Do you be familiar with where the information in sequence regarding the bezel settings is stored. Similar to in a number of xml file somewhere. I looked in the profiles in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\ and it's not there. Is there a number of additional spot.

"An EDID EEPROM was not detected on the preferred monitor. Do you desire to scan the bus for the additional EDID EEPROMs." I did read somewhere that someone might not right of entry Bezel organization; the predicament for that person was that they did not appropriately eliminate 10.2 drivers. It’s not a bug. If your monitors are the incorrect size then you would not get Bezel Management.

Have presently reinstalled with Catalyst 9.10 and the difficulty remnants! 1152x864 demonstrate up with a half centimeter blank black stripe of impracticable space on top and bottom, as if 16:9 DVD arrangement. But Catalyst 9.3 did not encompass this bug. 1152x864 is moderately helpful and I do ask that this problem please be looked into and the bug fixed. Additional than for this problem, I am moderately satisfied with Catalyst 9.10.

I encompass installed View sonic VX 912 monitor driver, and the declaration 1152 x 864 at present looks the right 4:3 percentage. Please make a note of that dissimilar versions 9.9 and 9.10, neither Catalysts 9.2 nor 9.3 essential View sonic drivers to display 1152 x 864 right. View sonic VX 912 is not supported several additional, and I had to download View sonic unsigned driver Vistax64 from an offsite. I installed it on 7 in Vista compatibility mode, and then rebooted.
