9800GT temps too high

Hello friends,

I am having computer system with windows 7 installed on it. I am using GeForce 9800 GT EVGA graphics card with this system. But this graphics card showing some problem while playing game like crisis warhead. While playing this game the temp of this card goes to 75c. I don't any idea to resolve this temperature issue of GeForce 9800 GT EVGA. Please help me to resolve this problem. I am waiting for your reply.

If you play games which requires higher graphics for long time then it may leads to high temperature. According to my information the 'crisis warhead' is games which has higher graphics. If you want to avoid this high temperature issue, then try to play games which has lower graphics. I hope this will solve your confusion about the high temp of your graphics card.

It sound that your GeForce 9800 GT EVGA graphics card might comprises some serious issue and that causes high temperature while playing game. I suggest you to replace this faulty graphics card with new graphics card. Before that you can also try the reinstallation of driver for this GeForce 9800 GT EVGA graphics card.

I am also using 9800GT EVGA and getting same high temp problem with it. As per above suggestion I also tried the reinstallation of driver of this graphics card, but nothing was helpful. I am getting this high temp problem even when I play low graphics games. I am not getting how to sort out this high temp issue.

According to me your computer system posses some hardware issue. I don't know the exact solution to resolve this temperature issue. It's better for you to take help of any computer expert. I suggest you to try this graphics card with other system in the way to verify the problem of your graphics card.

I think you don't need to worry about this temperature as 75c is not very temperature. When I play high graphics game, some times the graphics card temp goes to 80c. Even then I didn't get any serious problem to my graphics card. If possible then try to play game that need low graphics, so that the graphics card temp won't high.

There must be problem in your graphics card. If possible for you then try to replace this graphics card. I was also getting same issue with my EVGA graphics card. At that time I tried many solution to resolve the temp issue, but no success in it. And finally I had to replace my faculty EVGA graphics card. I think you need to do the same thing as I did.

75C too high ?!

No, my 9800gt get to 100C at 100% use and in windows it stay like at 65C

i'll RMA this crap. this is very too much high temp.

Oh, my card isen't OC'ed it's the normal one.
