You don’t disassemble your laptop if it’s still under warranty. If you are having serious issue and it points directly to your video card. Check the following things:
    1. Your card needs to be reset.
    2. Your card's fan is failing and the artifacting is due to over-heating or your laptop is overheating and it is affecting the video card causing this issue.
    3. The card is dying and you need a new one.
    Check the overall and reply.

You need to check the LCD panel fault, how come once in a while it runs perfectly fine. Furthermore, the laptop could still be used with external monitor right. You can check the connectivity issue with an external monitor nothing comes up on that, although "no signal" message of the monitor disappears. Check with the external monitor works? Reply.

You need to look on the bottom of your notebook on a white sticker and write down the P/N number. After that you need to turn on the machine and go to hp.com. Put your P/N number in the hp search bar and click software and driver downloads. click your operating system that you used and find your appropriate graphics driver. Install that and enjoy.

Sometimes the key are same Fn+F3, infect the F3 key also has a monitor icon on it. When these keys are accidently pressed, the desktop screen on LCD displays lcd panel and a monitor icon with an arrow pointing towards the monitor. But nothing happens, lcd display remains on while monitor remains blank. So check the Function key. All the best.

You may have a physical damage in your computer. I have also the same issue. The HP repair center I took it to do a full diagnostic of the machine. They removed the AMD chip as a problem (the source of most of the heat) and stated that the mother board had to be replaced. They had four hp laptops sharing the same motherboard Part number and processor type and the problem will resolved. All the best.

I want to know that Is it still under warrenty?Have you called the manufacturer about this problem. The reason I ask if you called the manufacturer because most people don't do fix it physically laptops at home and usually send it to the companyexceptit’s out of warranty. It could be a combine of things, LCD monitor going bad, loose connections, vid card going bad or is faulty. Check and reply.
