It is not only you are getting this type of error, It is complained from so many users with different brands. They always posted a lot of queries regarding this error.

You need to be sure from your side regarding every required devices and the drivers for the display purpose and if you are not getting the exact solution then you can go or contact to the manufacture of the device.

I will suggest you to create a test point to check the efficiency of the device that you are using currently. I think, it is an HDCP handshake issue between the laptop and the TV which is created by the lacking of software.

I am not too sure about this but if it is either though then I told you earlier to create a test point then can you try to connect your laptop to another TV? or use another (blu-ray capable software player?

Error message: "your display enviornment does not support protected contact playback"

    Hi,

It is measured as to be a HDCP associated issue. HDMI carries HDCP which is also know as copy protection protocol from your player to display and if the display does not compatible with HDCP, the player will not display protected content (In some cases).

Just find out, your TV having compatibility with HDCP or not. If it doesn't have then it will not display 1080p. You can try a min resolution such as 480i to test whether it would be supported or not. Have you got some different output from your laptop (i.e. composite, S-video), if so try those and set the resolution to 480i.

Thank you very much for all your support, thanks again. I got the solution with the help of you all. Fn+F7 and then choose tv only display allows BD to play on TV. Prior to doing this, it would be very flexible to put close the lid do nothing, so you can close the lid while playing the disk.

    Thanks
