    Problem with Nvidia Geforce 9400 gt

    I'm having a INTEL dual 2 core processor along with 2GB RAM. I had installed Windows Xp on my machine. My nvidia geforce 9400gt seems to be not working as after few minutes it get crashes whenever i try to play game on my machine. Can any one tell me that is there any kind of problem with my Nvidia Geforce 9400 gt card? How can i resolve this issue? Please help me out to get rid of the above issue.

    It all depends on whether or not you plan on upgrading the GPU soon, and also what resolution you game on. It could definitely be your RAM, but it could also be your power supply unit. Newer cards need more power and if your current PSU doesnt crank out enough, it will affect performance.

    No matter how good your graphics card is, it will perform poorly if you don't have decent RAM and a CPU. My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup and Recovery Settings -> System Failure Uncheck Automatically Restart (it'll leave it on the BSOD until you reset). Just make sure you run it as an administrator.

    The bandwidth on a PCI port is really taxed by any video card output. What resolution are you attempting. I used the "safe-mode"- enable low resolution to get into my desktop, changed the resolution then rebooted and it was fine. I will advise you updating your graphic card driver.
