Sapphire toxic 4870 error

When i start game i get an error message "Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data". I have installed sapphire toxic 4870 on my computer. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

You need to buy a new video card since your current video card doesn't support all the features in game that you are trying to play or try to update sapphire toxic 4870 driver.

This error generally indicates that Your drivers and/or DirectX are not updated to the most current releases. First try updating the driver & DirectX. But if that doesn't work then your video card is too old to handle(a game I assume) what you are trying to run.
