    What is cost schedule index

    Hi

    Could anyone please explain What is cost schedule index(CSI)?
    Where it will be used in a project and what are the conditions behind it?
    If CSI >1,How it will be interpreted?

    Maybe this could help you understand it better: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209115. Microsoft Project does not calculate the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) or the Cost Performance Index (CPI). The link above contains a sample macro that calculates SPI and CPI for each task in a project.

    See the "Earned Value Cost Indicators" table and "Earned Value Schedule Indicators" table for CPI and SPI.
