Motorola DCT3416 Firewire & Vista

I got some help from some online magazine who helped me on the current problem with the "Open Up Your Cable Box" item. They told me how to find and install drivers for the Motorola DCT3416 cable/PVR that I am having so that it can communicate with Vista Media Center with the help of a firewire. But it seems to me that I have got the wrong drivers and I am not able to make it work. Is there anyone who can find out what drivers can be used so that Media Center can recognize the Motorola DCT3416 ? Thanks for any information.

I dont know whether the same works with Vista operating system or not, but once I get a longer firewire then I will try to give it a go but I dont know if the drivers will work or not for live streaming.

Is there anybody who tried this on Windows Vista 64 bit edition? I have a Vista 64 bit OS that is not able to recognize to this hardware, so it is not even trying to start the installation process. When the firewire connection is made then the 3 devices appear but the drivers dont appear to b 64 bit compatible. Please help.

I think that you need to have a 32 bit version of Windows operating system because there are no 64 bit windows drivers available till now. So, try to install a 32 bit OS in your computer and then only it can be used.
