I have some copied cd's and I want to recover the licenses for the same to Windows Media Player on my pc but the problem is that the migration process wont work and I am not able to play the files. I dont have the CD's with me but I had downloaded them through the purchase in a store. Below is the message that I am getting that is in details:
"A license is required to play this file. The file you are trying to play was ripped (copied) from an audio CD. During the ripping process, the file was 'protected.' This limits the number of computers on which the file can be played. To play the file on this computer, you must download a license (a process known as 'license migration'). A license acts an electronic key that allows you to 'unlock' a protected file and play it. To download a license for this file, click Download License."
If I click the button then I get another message that says - "Error: 438: Unknown error occurred when storing your lisence." Does anyone know how to fix this problem.
