Huawei EC1260 USB modem firmware issue

After upgrading from windows XP to windows 7 my USB Huawei EC1260 stopped working. When i connect the modem to my system after the upgrade it gets hung after 2 minutes. Can anyone tell me whether this is some kind of Huawei EC1260 USB modem firmware issue. please help me to sort this problem.

I think you need to update your windows 7 operating system. since you have upgraded your windows vista to windows 7 and hence you are facing this problem. If these updates won't work too then can you should ask the customer care about the same and they will help you in this matter.

I followed the instructions which you have specified in the above reply. I have installed the available updates on my system. Even though the the updates are installed i cannot resolve this issue since my Huawei EC1260 USB modem firmware issue is still not detected. Please help me as soon as you can anyways thanks for the reply.

According to my knowledge if you have upgrade your operating system to windows 7. Then it would be better if you try to get all the application associated with the Huawei EC1260 USB modem uninstalled. Then simply reinstall the application again. Now when you will get replug the device it will start working.
