    Alternative for Hathway broadband

Besides hathway, what are the other options available for broadband internet connection here in Mumbai? I am preferably looking for unlimited plan if it is cheap. I know there is sify and reliance broadband, but sify are way too costly and reliance I dont trust. Sad that BSNL is not there in Mumbai.

So give some suggestions and options that are good other than this. Thank you.

Go to the local cable operator that provide cable tv to your home and nearby areas. They must be providing internet popularly known as cablenet. They also have better plans and schemes and are also reliable. What more, you also get local lan connection for the nearby area which you wont get in Hathway. Share loads of files and enjoy lan connection even if your internet is not active

Hathway is actually a better broadband service provider than many others. Their downtime is almost negligible and service is also good. I rarely had problems with Hathway. Only one thing is missing that they dont provide local lan connectivity.

But sometimes I come across people those who have problems with hathway broadband! This is one example - Hathway broadband sucks

One good alternative for Hathway broadband is the Airtel broadband. They provide good services and the speed is ultimate. You will never have problems with the service. They provide what they say...

    Airtel broadband plan
Airtel broadband, how reliable is it
    Airtel broadband HUB for Mumbai

Why dont you go for MTNL then? In Mumbai, there is MTNL only instead of BSNL. They also have good schemes. BSNL are slightly cheaper because they are outside Mumbai. Anything in Mumbai, you always have to shell out a little more

I had approached MTNL. But they said they will require atleast 4 months to get the connection to my place. Mark the word atleast. I cant wait so long. So I dropped the MTNL plan. They do have better plans, but I am helpless.

So this is the best option for you.
    InterNext wimax Tariff plan

Go for the 256MB plan that is very cheap. Also, if you go for yearly subscription, you get 3 months subscription free. I use this and is working absolutely fine. InterNext Wimax rocks
