HP DeskJet 3050A e-All-in-One Printer use huge Amount of ink

I bought new All-in-One Printer HP DeskJet 3050A recent and very upset since then. Since the purchase I have bought 2 black ink cartridges. . I And personally I fell I never printed that may document which required 2 black cartridges. I am ripping off big time. Before that I had HP model since 2006and I was very excited about this new model now I feel that I have mad wrong decision for purchasing this model I should have get Kodak despite having everything in HP.

I am also facing the same problem I personally feeling this printer is not worth it to spend that much of money I would appreciate if anyone here from HP contact me as I am really very disappointed with the amount that I am paying for cartridge as I am not print that much of document . In fact I have this old model which is printing more that this new model

I want to know what model were you people were using before switching to 3050A and the fact is the black #61 cartridge is relatively small that cab print only 190 pages . this cartridge is intended to the people who has low usage rate you and on the other hand the #61XL version is rated at 480 pages and it will be better suit to you so you should use this cartridge and see the different , hope this information prove to helpful to you .

I was hoping to get considered by the expert to assist me on this problem and provide some answer for this problem I don’t hope the hp will help me about this as they are all about making money and will never provide any services to the customer and all this is based on previous experience I had with HP customer support .

Now about the 61 cartridge if it’s for modest use then they should mention about than on it and the fact that I am pretty sure that I have not printed even close to 190 pages that you have describe .and its eventullu say my black ink level is lower so it’s would not print anything

If you this the usage is unusual than you have to lodge the complaint with HP Support and there is no other way for that and I can suggest you with the couple of thing to use the larger fill cartridges that will literally increase the quantity and also use Fast draft, and in grayscale mode to save further more amount of ink . see if its works

Same problem I got new HP Photosmart C309a printer and it’s also take too much of the inks and when I made the complaint about this to HP support and that prove to be useless as they give me with the useless links that says how to conserve ink

Add one more on this list I have HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 which suppose to save ink and last the cartridge longer now I had purchase the Tri Color Cartridge few days before from HP shop for Rs 425 . I just printed few Photographs on Photo Paper and the cartridge ended after the 11 photo sheet and the 12th one was lacking color and computer prompt for cartridge replacement. So if this is the conservation of inks then I don’t know how much the normal printer will last for. The cost comes for each print is Rs 39 . I have to again purchase the new cartridge let see how long will this cartage will run

Well I am not surprised about the number of people facing this problem well the other day I got this mail about 20% discount on the 61XL cartridge so I bought it on 22 bucks instead of 30 . I haven’t see 61XL is available near I live so how would other will get to know about this option
