how to use Extra mouse buttons

I have extra mouse buttons part from the scroll buton which is having mulit directions moves. i want to know how to use it I got extra button on the right side. Can I use it generally for all programs or Can I use it in games or In some other application please guide.???

you can use mouse software that you got with your mouse and install appropriate software such as Micros~1 and can use it bit if u haven’t got any software you can download it from internet and manually set all the buttons. Yes you can use these buttons mostly in web surfing and in adobe PDF reader.
