Does Logitech webcam pro 9000 can send 30fps at 1280x720?

I had bought a new Logitech webcam pro 9000 and I was little bit confused regarding how much fps it usually send. It is able to send 30fps at the resolution of 1280 x 720. I had tested many things with it but dint get anything. I’m asking this as the Logitech had claim that the webcam pro 9000 can do 30fps at the resolution of 1280x720. I don’t think so it is a fake as the Logitech itself claim about it. If so then just guide me how to do the setup for it.

It’s really work and I had made it with the 30fps. The problem it doesn’t work is the drivers having the version of 13.0.1783.0 and at the same time it won’t give the 30fps at the resolution of 640 x 480 and even. Maybe there is problem with the sensor setting at the 1280 x 720 if the light is not much strong and with the minimum artifacts you will get the 30fps at hd resolution. Does the 15fps is having the problem with the latest version.

I had also checked it many times and bit confused regarding this. I had used all the drivers version and when I was using the 13.0.178 version I had noticed that there is no option for the 30fps and when I check the control panel it still show the version 12.10.1110 and when I was using the 12.10.1110 version I had notice that I can see the option for the 30fps. I think so it’s due to switching the drivers. I’m using windows 7 32 bits.

I had checked with the version 13.0.178 and I can see the option for 30fps. You must reboot the computer and then check it again. Now I’m using 12.10.11.1110 and had noticed that in the 1280 x 720 at the 15fps it narrow when I try the 960 x 720 at the 30fps and it also show the narrow view. After so much testing I had notice that the best quality can be achieved at the 800x600 at the 15fps. So it’s better to use that resolution with the 12.10.11.1110 then switching the drivers.

You just install the lws1.1 and make sure that you are using the software version 12.10.1110 and from that you are able to access the 30fps in the 1280 x 720 resolution which will give you a narrow view than the other resolution and you also need a lot of light . Many other resolution with the 30fps look like interpolated. Well if you are using the 15fps you must use the 800x600 resolution and in that you will get a low noise.

I think so you must use the 864x480with the 30fps and it will really give you the best quality video in the indoor light and if you want the frames rate to be consistent then just turn off your right light and then move the slider to the middle and then adjust the video setting and I’m sure you will going to get a smooth video. Make sure if you’re more concern about the fps then turn off the quick capture as it will going to affect the fps.

I think if you had downloaded the other version of the quickcapture then also you need a third party software to get 30fps I had even tried with the 15fps at the resolution of 640x480 which make the screen blurred. I think I should make a use of 30fps I had even tested the Microsoft expression encoder. I had even use the setting to get 30fps but I’m having the problem with the blue pixel. But I don’t thinks it’s due to the setting which I had used for it.
