Even I had got the same problem with my webcam software for this I had unplug my device and then uninstall the software for the Logitech webcam and then make a clean install of the software lws 1.10 for 32 bit and then plug-in my device in different port and its started working but for you if its doesn’t work then plug-in your webcam with an appropriate software and try to use it and check if the problem still persist.

Hello, I’m using windows 7 32bits with an nvidia windows driver version of 270.61 which is also of 32 bit. And when I had tried my speaker and webcam with the Skype and yahoo messenger testing page its working fine before I had made a clean install and then downloaded an lws 1.1. Before I was not getting a video on the Skype but now everything is working normally. Hope this will going to solve your problem easily.

Just check if you’re having the problem of audio and video which using the Logitech webcam software and even check if you’re getting the problem with only outgoing call as there might be lag in the internet connection. You can easily test the speed of your internet from speed test website. According to me for minimum downloading you need a 1mbps, but fro optical video call you need a speed of 3mbps. If your are getting the speed minimum then that you must contact to your isp for assistance.

Well I was able to the video but I’m not getting the audio while using the software. I had even check my speed from the speed test and it gives the result for downloading is 8mbps and for uploading I got a speed of 0.50mbps and I had told this issue to the sky broadband and still waiting the response from them. I’m able to see the other people when they send me the cam request but I don’t get an audio. Do I need to upgrade my pc?

No you don’t need to do that. As there is a problem with the uploading speed that you are getting as its only base on how fast is your computer is sending the information for this the minimum requirement is 1mbps and if its low you will surely going to face lag during the output video and its doesn’t matter in this what you get while testing the webcam on your pc as there is problem with the uploading and yes you will able to see the proper video when you see the other people as downloading speed is good.

I had contact to the isp provider and they said me that your getting the downloading speed of 11.32mbps and the uploading speed is 0.86mbps and when I ask why the uploading speed is low they replied me that the upload speed won’t exceed above 1mbps. When I connect my webcam with Skype and connect the video I don’t get a sound and when I turn off my video then only I’m getting the sound and I’m sure this might be due to the uploading speed.
