Realtek HD showing rear speaker like side with 5.1 surround system

Yesterday I have installed the Windows 7 64bit in my computer. The thing is that I’m utilizing logitech X-540 5.1 speakers except Realtek HD is noticing my "rear" speakers like "side" speakers while I choose the 5.1 choice. The barely approach around this to choose the 7.1 option and put out of action the "side" speakers and therefore I can employ "rear". The noise from the "side" speakers afterward comes from the ones within the frontage in the testing. Currently the trouble is that while I play games/movies in 5.1 it almost certainly notices my system like a 7.1 and a few sound will be absent. Therefore how can I utilize the 5.1 option and maintain my surround speakers like "rear" and not "side".

If the 5.1, they are connected with two other measures that the normally green jack. Otherwise, the 2.1, if they are connected with a single dose. The problem is simple, whether it's 5.1, you must connect the three jacks (green, orange, black normally), but for that, your computer must be equipped with a 5.1 sound card. If this is not the case, your speakers will not work obviously. In this case, you have to buy sound card commerce Externet USB, it cost very little. That way you plug your external sound card to your PC via USB, and anyway you have an installation CD with the Drivers for this to work. But obviously, if your speakers are 5.1, you must have 3 jacks and not a single.
    • 2.1: 2 speakers left, right + subwoofer
    • 5.1: 2 front left and right, 2 rear speakers left and right, one center speaker + subwoofer bass
    • 7.1: same system as the 5.1, except that + 2 speakers on the sides, left and right.

Now missing all adjustment possibilities, that is, the Realtek HD Audio Manager is gone and in the Control Panel, there is nothing left, except the default sound settings. Since then I've just set times 5.1 and lo and behold, I can actually now in WinDVD 6 loudspeakers. Unfortunately, this brings me now, not much, since most functions do not go anymore. Especially the Dolby Digital Live - feature where I wanted my 5.1 signal via coax to my A / V receiver connect, no more. So this is unfortunately no solution for me.

Right-click on the Realtek / Creative / Windows speaker icon and then click playback devices. Several in the picture stand. You can see a few off and on again and try different combinations. This does no harm. It is intended that those Creative will be used and that it is set. And on any device you can right-click and then click Configure Speakers. There is also a thing to set.

The lower rear slot as previously described mouseouver shows in side speakers, despite 5.1-setting. If I ever let myself go over the test tone on all channels I get anywhere except from the front NEN tone. Only I just do not get front signal, since it apparently is no way the driver to redistribute the channels. In an old version 1.7x or so it all looked different, because everything could be redistributed as you wanted but that run under windows 7 so the net all versions.

The only thing I found "odd" is under "Sounds and Audio Devices" control panel. There on the first tab called "volume" I have a down box called "speaker configuration" with two buttons: "speaker volume ..." and "Advanced". In the advanced properties and you get an image down to select the speaker setup you have, and that I have "5.1 surround sound speaker," is right. But the option I mentioned before "Speaker Volume" I open a window where I can adjust the volumes, and I get two sliders, one for "left" and one for "right" and nothing more. I do not know if this should appear a bar for each of the speakers that I said that I have. This is all I mosque of all the settings I've seen. When I use the front that is at the rear of the bottom plug in (because when falsely "side" is not a sound. And all the other constellations of the wiring I've been through. To the normal stereo output I have to go to it but then only on my Front speakers sound.
