Dell Inspiron 518 plays random music in the background

I have purchased a Dell Inspiron 518 last year. I normally use the desktop for gaming, internet surfing, chatting and especially for downloading movies. The Operating system installed in my system is Windows vista. I came across a strange issue while accessing my desktop. The issue was that my PC used to play random music in the background. I have noticed this from last 2 months. Is anyone aware about such issues? If yes then how can I fix it? Please do the needful.

After I read your post I came to know about your issue. Many people had encountered such issues before but it has been solved. There can be several reasons for such issues. We need to do some troubleshooting for such issue. It is difficult to say that the solutions I suggest will surely overcome your issue. Let’s try it out to solve the issue I would suggest you to disconnect your internet connection. After doing that then check whether the music is still being played in the background. I think after disconnecting the internet connection you won’t face such issues.

I am very grateful to you for interacting with me to overcome the issue. I disconnected the internet connection as specified by you but it didn’t work out. The issue remained the same as it was initially. I even tried the other solution that I knew to overcome such issues but it was of no use. It is the first time I have encountered such issues in my PC. Do you know any other solution to overcome the issue? If yes then please help me out.

The issue that you have posted seems to be interesting. Very few people had discussed such issues with me earlier. I haven’t noticed such issues in my PC till now. I am quite unfamiliar with such issues but still I will try my level best to solve it if possible. To solve the issue I would recommend you to turn off your speakers and attach headphone as an alternative for speakers. After that, check whether you are getting same issue in your system. I think this time you won’t encounter such issues.

I am aware about such issues and I will try to provide you the exact solution to solve the issue. This issue is due to some internal errors in your system. I think you have inadvertently installed a software player which is linked to a radio station via Internet. This software is generating such issues in your system. To solve the issue I would recommend you to perform the following steps:
Go to Control Panel-> select programs-> click on Un-install the program. A list will be displayed and from that list locate that software program and click on remove button to Un-install the program. After you remove that program from the PC your issue will be solved.

It is a complicated issue that you have posted. It is difficult to find out the exact reason for the issue. You are the first person who has discussed such issues with me. According to me such issues normally occur due to virus that is annoying you. To overcome the issue I would recommend you to install an antivirus program in your PC. After that scan your PC with that antivirus program and delete the virus that is encountered by the program. Try out this solution and inform me about the consequences.

Thanks a lot for all the responses and recommendation that you have given me to overcome the issue. Your suggestion helped me a lot. Previously I had discussed this issue with my colleagues but they could not help me to overcome the issue. You are the first person who supported and helped me. I downloaded the antivirus program but it didn’t encounter any virus in my system. I also performed the other modifications that were suggested by you but none them worked out. Do you know any other solution to overcome the issue? Please do the needful if possible
