I am using my external drive from 2 months but when I purchased it all the things were working fine but form last two days I am not able to use the full space of my hard disk and I don’t know how to solve this problem. Please help me how to solve this problem. I am waiting for your reply. Thank you in advance.

If you are finding the problems with the hard drive space then I think you should first check your hard disk by scanning it properly and confirm that there are no hidden files there or there is no virus there. Because sometime due to virus it occupies so many space off our hard disk. Even when there is no file in folder but it is still showing the folder size in GB. So first scan your hard drive completely and then check the results. I hope my information will be helpful to you.

I have read your issue regarding your hard disk. If you are not able to use the full space of your hard disk then I think you should first copy the all the data of your hard disk in your laptop and after that format your hard disk completely. After completing this task check your hard disk capacity again I think after that you will be able to use all the space of your hard disk. Try this trick if you are still finding the same problem after doing these steps then I please let me know.

To solve your problem I have one solution which you can try. First format the your hard disk and after that go to the desktop and after that right click on the my computer icon and then click on the manage. After that click on the disk management. In the disk management you will find your hard disk in the removable disk section and after that right click on it and after that locate that drive once it is done then after you will find that it is showing you the full space of your hard disk.

If you are finding the problem with your hard disk even after trying all the solution. Then I have one suggestion for you. If your hard disk is in the warranty then you should go to the service center and give your hard disk for the checking. They will solve your all the problems. But make sure you so take the backup of all your data before giving your hard disk in the service center. I hope my suggestion will help you to solve your problem. I think you should try this idea.
