Need suggestion for best headphone amps

The majority of $1,000 headphone amps have not anything but a volume control. I am utilized to "bass boost" or "equalizers" in my lower-end audio world and I was speculating if any headphone amp owners uncover it frustrating to not be able to regulate the highs, mids or lows to your preference on your amp. My dread is that my Concerto/LCD2 setup won't have sufficient bass punch, for a kick drum to punch me directly out of my chair. With no bulge to enlarge the low end, I would be sad. Am I right to be worried or is there a solution?

The good amps don't require EQ. If a design is deprived, I won't purchase it in the first place. You might be concerned in an equalizer. As well, the M^3 (which is an excellent amp) has a variable bass boost that's well executed. You might wish to seem into one. But normally, I look for amps that simply have a power switch and volume control. The most excellent amps focus on an immense circuit, great build quality and well parts. A good circuit is the most significant part.

Not actually. You might have an immense "sound which just lacks a bit of air in the top, as with the Sennheiser HD 650. A minor twitch to the right on a treble control can mean the dissimilarity between keeping a phone and selling it." I would quite sell the headphone and get one well suited to my favorites than rely on EQ. If the OP thinks the LCD2 is bass shy then the OP doesn’t seem for an unbiased or transparent sound. Indeed not a real sound, which, I suppose, is well. The better the headphone and amp though, the extra neutral they will normally be.

I would quite sell the headphone and acquire one better suited to my preferences than rely on EQ. So would I because I don't consider in extensive EQ, which is why I recommended a minor twitch of the treble control. There's a huge dissimilarity between EQing, which normally involves an equalizer and invites even fiddling and changing things, and utilizing a treble control to effect a slight, enduring change to the sound, enough to turn it from unclearly dissatisfying to completely satisfying.

EQ's have all the time been the subject of disagreement in the audio world but let me promise you there is not a band in the world or a guitarist or most significant a recording studio that doesn't utilize EQ. Having an EQ if utilized correctly is priceless. In the headphone world for a few reasons there is this mindset that the equipment is what it is and you match your headphones to specified equipment it’s the similar philosophy as using an EQ the just dissimilarity is you are not sliding or spinning a parametric dial. You are trade lots of sets of headphones it’s the similar idea just a dissimilar completion of EQ.

While I concur an EQ is totally mandatory while recording or while utilized for professional purposes, it's not for informal music listening. Each headphone offers you with a diverse listening experience and this cannot be coordinated with an EQ. People have big headphone collections mainly because every headphone is better matched for a certain genre of music.
Note these are just my views and I am surely not accusing the use of an EQ.
