Cannot pair Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 with Lenovo X61 Tablet with XP Office

I have a Lenovo X61 tablet which is being running on a Windows XP Office. Recently I had bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. My laptop did recognize my keyboard but I was unable to it with my laptop. It showed me a pairing failed error with my keyboard. Also, I had tried various software and drivers to things work out for me but to no avail. I had found out that there is software for MAC OS. Kindly help!! As I was looking forward to work with this keyboard along with my laptop.

Thanks for writing down this problem on this forum. To resolve your issues related with your keyboard and laptop to pair the two you need download and install the IntelliType Pro 7.0. for this purpose you need to carry out following steps:
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Switch your Control Panel to Classic view
4. Click on Administrator tools
5. Now you will get the services window
6. Double click on services now you can access services window
7. Look out Human Interfaces device
8. Now start the device
9. Set it to automatic

The easiest way to resolve it you can get a Bluetooth adapter. Installed the required driver software of the Bluetooth adapter came in the CD. After you installed it on your system I guess there would not be any queries related to it. Also, I guess I am able to resolve your problem as it worked out for me. Once I plug in the adapter on the USB then after installing its driver I was able pair my Lenovo Tablet laptop with the Microsoft Mobile Bluetooth keyboard 6000.

Try updating your Operating system with Windows 7 as I did not have any problem while pairing between the Bluetooth Keyboard and the Lenovo Tablet laptop. Since Windows 7 has preloaded drivers related to mostly all the devices it can recognize the hardware and install the particular software or drivers related to that hardware. Once you install Windows 7 I am sure you would not encounter this kind of problem again as it automatically detects its internal settings which are required.
