As far as I can tell, I can only find the JMY501H module on the internet for the RFID handheld reader? There are also other versions like JMY680C, JMY501G, JMY501C and MR600UH which is a RFID Contactless IC Card Reader, but there model seems same. I wonder for what purpose this is used, can you explain us.

Hi, do you know Unitech in Taiwan? They buy JMY501 series RFID modules. To develop a handheld RFID reader will need more components, except our module and antenna, you may need the motherboard, LCD display, SPI flash, USB. Well, I should say, our modules to the RFID reader is the brain to a man.

We design our module by the specific protocol. Mostly, our clients ask the protocol they need and we recommend the suitable module for them. Like JMY680C you mentioned, it design according to ISO14443A and ISO14443B. The module embeds SAM card slot, so that the module support the ISO7816 SAM card. Antenna is integrated with the PCB. You can operate your IC card by sending the command to the module. We offer the sample program to help you develop your reader in short time.

Wow, this would be a complicate process, but the RFID module is the key.
