    Dell 3110CN printing gray pages

I am here with some problem with my Dell 3110CN. Actually, when printing the complete page then I can see that it contain a light gray background on the paper. (It in fact looks pretty good, like the patterned paper you can purchase form any Staples Depot) and the document is printed in standard condition. The printer has previously the toner, fuser, belt unit, as well as power supply changed and still it is showing me the similar indication. I am out of the ideas here. I cannot make out what to do to resolve this. If you know that how can I get out of the issue then please let me know about that.

I am a bit familiar with this issue. It is nothing but the problem with the firmware update that you are having for that. The firmware which you are using might be outdated and that is the reason that you are getting the problems like that. My suggestion to you is to go to dell official website and download the firmware from there. I am familiar with that because I was also having the same problem earlier and updating the firmware solves the problem for me and so it can do the same for you as well.

There might be some problem in the way as you installed the cartridge in your printer. I think that the cartage is not installed properly in your printer and that is the reason that it is leaking that on the printing paper. If you want to make that sure then just remove the cartridge from the printer and install that once again to see if that can solve the problem for you. This is one of the most possible reasons for the problem that you are facing at the time.

Is the printer connected unswervingly into a wall outlet or else is it is sharing power by means of other devices? Other than this you should see for the warranty of that. If you get that it is still under warranty then don’t try to do anything from your side. Just take that to the dealer and if they can help you in any manner then it is fine otherwise you can directly contact to the Dell and ask them for the problem. They will definitely solve the problem. Otherwise tell you the most possible reasons for this.

I am having some alternate theory about this issue. I think that the fuser is becoming very hot and that is the reason that it is burning the printing paper to some extent. So you are getting that patterned paper at the time of printing. You should check the variation flanked through toner on paper with the paper being burnt. Just check for this and once you get the exact idea that what is the problem then you can move to the solution more easily.

All my pages cyan and magenta ripple. Color toners were replaced not long ago. When I open the printer and a visual inspection of the printer, it appears that the leaking toner cartridge. Also, I see a lot of excess toner on the transfer roller (the part attached to the door of the printer.) My first assumption was that the deposit of waste in the transfer roll is completed and not to remove the excess toner. In fact, it took me aside and took out a large amount of residual toner that tank and reinstall. The problem was still there. Firmware is the latest version. When I can check the status of the printer using the web interface, which shows the fuser and belt by 30%.
