Lose Fn key screen graphics While installing SCM

I have an A6000 with Windows 7 32 bit. When installing the new SMC posted here (CR600 driver / utilities) my FN key graphics on the screen. The majority of the functions still work but no green button. By pushing back the release 2.209.1106.005.10 everything works fine. I reboot after installation close and tried to extract AC and battery power and joy, but no. Am I missing something? If anyone here has any information or any way out solution than please just let me know. Thank you.

I as well have the similar issue and while I talk to my friend about this, just told me to stick with the version that works. Yes, that works, but I was thinking there might be a trick or something "obvious" that could be happening. I am not a computer whiz (more than a gear head.) I am chasing a lag / lock / topic questions and I updated the Nvidia drivers (from NVidia’s site for the 8200M and the list CR600 MCP79MVL chipset, is there a new one on the Nvidia site? I could find.) And I thought that updating the SMC may help. Do you have any idea of what improvements were incorporated in the latest SCM? By the way, when I go on NVidia’s site and "Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products." and click on "graphics drivers" that says I am up to date. While I click on "motherboards drivers" that says I have to raise, but not at all actually loads the software that says I require? Can you provide me an idea of what is happening with that?

Finally I would get a set of drivers / utilities / firmware of the meeting are the most recent work and in my A6000 and then upgrade to 64 bits win7 (from a flash drive? Maybe a clean install), I have much to learn because I have not at all tried this before. All resource sites, needs reading ideas deeply appreciated. I like my A6000 lot, approximately as much as my old IBM T20 kept going well beyond that is the time (still serves as a garage computer diagnostic programs) that I would like to learn more and improve or maintain my A6000 for beyond is as well time (like me w / mine and other vehicles).

While you use the computer only "stop" stops or crashes. By this I mean the little blue circle displayed in place of cursor / pointer and running programs that do not respond to any user input. This happens with one or more open programs. It happen just opens the Firefox browser, only the word, only utorrent (down. up loads slow / stop) or what happens with multiple open programs. Freeze lasts 2 to 3 min. usually then not all back to normal, news and data loss. When this happens w / Firefox open the screen fades - pale colors out as a pure white is placed on the page, the word and other programs do not do it IIRC. Any ideas greatly appreciated, I will try to answer further troubleshooting? You may have.

It sounds like you caught the spyware or the hard disk has problems. The hard disk can be tested with the tools of the hard disk manufacturer, or just listening when it happens. If a hard disk is broken again makes strange noises, usually stronger than normal. If you ever dropped the laptop when the hard drive was spinning, then you already know the answer. Hard drives cannot withstand knocks and drops when you run, be killed.

Here I would also say something about it. Yes, I know the installer to SCM 1.0 has some shortcomings, especially when it comes to reporting of errors that occur during a failed installation. One member of my chips and other test equipment are more familiar with this kind of problems I suggest you add more information about what is running on when trying to install.
