Want to upgrade a Coolermaster Cavalier 4 PSU

I have got a Coolermaster Cavalier 4 PC case which unluckily came with a proprietary PSU size as 155 x 120 x 85 [ D x W x H ]. At the time 350W was sufficient for me but now I want to upgrade the PSU to about 600W. Just thinking if anyone has ever been thriving in upgrading this PSU. Is there any Power supply unit out there that can suit these dimensions or something exceptionally close? Else, has anyone ever made any changes inside the chassis that may allow a regular ATX PSU to fit in the case? Any help greatly appreciated. I've asked Coolermaster support but no joy. I am really sorry if this question has been posted before but I tried the search function but it keeps failing with an error.

I would calculate the rising screw hole positions and observe if they line up with a standard atx power supply, or merely try an old power supply. It's placed sideways, so a typical atx or micro-atx power suplly may function if the holes line up. Micro atx is restricted to about 400 watts. So I think you should also pursue the same , but in case if you get stuck somewhere you can definitely post back your question, I will help you out if that falls in my scope.

I have a same sproblem. In my Cavalier 2 the PSU is still fine, but at 350W and 20A on the 12+ and cap going quite old , getting a little below powered for my remake. After much thorough I found I was able to find a bit . The ATX SD series are the exact correct dimension! When I observed their "Slim desktop case" I was quite surprised. It is the Chassis for the Cavalier with a unusual front plate! I contacted them and confirmed that they did in fact construct the Cavalier 2 (and I think 1 and 4) for Cooler Master and their ATX SD series will be suitable for it .I am getting the ATX-450SD. I do not reckon they are recognized for the superiority of their products but I am going to give it a chance since I like the case so much. Their website gives a bit to be preferred information-wise, but well it is not that much helpful as much you are anticipating .

I would like to add to this post as I myself have got a Cavalier 2 that has a dead Power supply your information provided has been helpful as I had been searching all over for an suitable replacement to my MACRON POWER MPT-350D PSU. I located two places of interest via above's post. The Lotus Electronics put and also a approved Lotus Electronics reseller called and referred to some websites . Being that these scenario are so overwhelming and have been discontinued for fairly some time (because of their greatness actually), along with the proprietary power supply.

I too had a lot of a time searching a appropriate replacement. I called the phone number on the official site and they confirmed that they were the actual manufacturer of the Cooler Master Cavalier cases. They also made sure UserEasy as a reseller of their power supply units. Though the Lotus site does not posses it on their site, they do construct a 460W PSU. I purchased and was quite attracted to the UserEasy on the phone and ordered for two such power supply units . One for now, and the other will used afterwards in case I blow up the first one waiting to be used when this one blows, saving me from another wild goose chase.
