Printer drivers must be reinstalled periodically in Windows 7

In a corporate network with a domain's domain controller (W 2003 R2) which shares some printers. On clients with Windows 7 (and only those) is periodically required to reinstall the drivers. Non-administrators are not able to do it independently, so I have to go around the company to re-install 100 printers: very annoying. Who uses XP does not have this problem. How to update the drivers, why? I already tried to disable UAC, but nothing. Can anyone give me some idea? There would be very grateful.

Here I think that it is really very annoying. Actually in this the drivers in question are those provided by Windows 7? If not, are for Windows 7? Have you tried to install the latest version released by the manufacturer? Try disabling the recommended updates on Windows Update. So just try this I hope this will help you. Because when I was facing this at that time I have did the same thing so till now it is working good. So I will suggest you to try this.

Yeah! Really annoying. The drivers in question are not those of Windows, but those provided by the previous user and are also the most up to date and specific to Windows 7. I examined the updates before deploying them on the net and I do not think there is something that has to do with the drivers, though of course I could be wrong. So from my point of view I think you just go for this.

Actually suggesting that the drivers involved were third parties, but it gives me so much the idea that compatibility issues. Have you tried to do a test with verifier? May give some idea. Windows update could got to do if they were those of Windows, I do not know if MS update its driver which is publishing below those recommended.

What model is your printer? Certificates in general should not give these problems, we feel that the driver is not certified and peace. Have you checked whether you can use another driver? I know, maybe if the printer is pcl find one that can go, maybe Microsoft just signed. So regarding this issue I know this much and I think this information will help you.
