Does Blu-Ray drive work in Asus G73jh-X1

I recently purchased a brand new laptop Asus G73jh-X1 for gaming and my office work. I need to setup the Blue ray drive inside my laptop. So anyone have any idea about this diver makes combo with Asus properly or not. Or it works better with Asus. Does anyone make out if I can order a Blu Ray drive player for the new G73jh-X1 laptop and I want to install it myself? I'm convinced that Asus makes one but I can't look like to locate it. So anyone has any suggestion for this post or any ideas how to install in my laptop. So please reply your post as soon as possible. Help will be appreciated.

It's a typical slim line bay. Any slim line blu ray, dvd, cd etc drive will fit the ebay. You will have to cautiously take out the face plate from your present drive to place on your new drive so it will fit the contour of the G73JH notebook properly, and obviously it won't say blu ray because the plate will be from your DVD combo, but you will make out it's there. Finding them at the instant has been a slight tough. Newegg had the Sony’s a short time that would work, but they don't show up on a look for right now. I favor pioneer and take over sony, but have not yet seen any in reserve. From what I appreciate on the blu rays, they have been having problems with the drives in the slim line form issue. Therefore the A1's haven't been accessible.... drive problem with the Blu ray drives. Sincerely, if not you require the playback for blu ray on the set, get a USB 2.0 blu ray burner. Cheaper than the slim line will be and just as efficient for burning and playback. Just not build into the device.

I will suggest you that your best chance would be to take a come across at Asus' support site for the specifications on the drive and then do a search for it you will require that this model is supportable or not . But by my experience I can tell that Blu Ray generally supports most of the laptop. So just confirm with Asus that which model of Blu Ray will match perfectly with the Asus G73jh. If that is a no go, give asus a call and they can express you to wherever a suitable/compatible replacement or the retail can be had. Or are you presently finding for a blu ray drive to change the DVD combo.

I think you should buy the Blu ray drive for your Laptop since this drive is compatible in the Asus though it is compatible in any laptop. But the installation of this drive is also quite easy. If cant make out how to install, just go through properly from the manual given with the Blu ray drive when you will buy this drive. If that too is difficult for you then go for online help for the installation of this drive. Generally this drivers are quiet easy just you need the driver CD for the installation.
