Corsair PSU HX 750 vs Corsair PSU TX 750

I presently having the Corsair TX 550 power supply, which unluckily due to surplus dust which I ignored, which result couple of resistors had melted. So i now need a new PSU. I was preparing to increase the wattage slightly to hold some of my new machinery slightly. I m planning to upgrade my to a gtx 285 to Geforce 9800gtx, while maintaining the 9800 gtx for graphics. I was finding Corsair TX 750 psu, when i was concerned by the modular Corsair HX 750 due to the excessive cables in my system from my old TX 550 which ended dust management particularly difficult in my antic 900. I was wondering if anyone had used either one of these PSU, or was conscious of any main benefits of one over the additional as at present the HX 850 looks like the good option to me. So please give me some suggestion about this post which one I should buy.

Yes I m presently using the Corsair HX750 PSU. It was a graet satisfaction to work with this PSU. It is also calm and has inaudible sound and has plenty of stable power. It also looks fairly nice (never thinking id say that about a psu!). The other obsession that made the decision to purchase it easier was the 7 year warranty assurance that came with it, since I hate spending money on the psu. But I know that this Corsair HX 750 will work you fine for playing games to combo with the memory of graphic card.

I would suppose that your system would need in the order of power supply200 to 300W when gaming so the substitution will work very well even if you desire to add a next graphics card. To give some piece of mind pinch down to your local machine and pick up a plug in. I think that TX psu of corsair will work fine due its compatibility and constant power supply. You may also wish for to look at dust filters for your box. Stopping the dust getting in is a lot easier than tiresome to clean your box once it is in.

I have send off the TX 750 to be repaired, but have chosen to restore it from my mine gaming box with the Corsair HX 750 PSU as my antic 900 case is too small for all the lead and machinery i have installed. I I used the TX in another build. But it won’t help me out. Got myself a pair of dust filters in the post, as i would require to clean box of your power supply every two or three weeks to stop dust being a problem again whichever you buy any PSU. Not precisely sure on how hard it’s going to be to mount them, due to limited space but we'll perceive when they get here.
