USB Printer won't print on Windows 7 until system restart

I have an HP Color LaserJet 1600 printer enthusiastic to Windows 7 64bit system by means of USB. Printing from the local machine is just all right. On the other hand, while I insert the shared printer to an additional machine in my Home group and print to it, the trade shows up in the print queue which able to be seen from both the originating system in addition to the machine to which the printer is enthusiastic but not anything is prints. Affording to remove the print work just modifies the status to Deleting but the work is not at all detached from the line. While the system to which the printer is enthusiastic is started over the job prints even if a remove was endeavored.

If your computer is containing troubles printing, then attempt by utilizing the Printer troubleshooter to fix the trouble. It makes certain that a printer is associated to your computer, and it makes sure for general problems for example whether the printer has sufficient paper and toner to finish printing your document. Release the Printer troubleshooter by simply clicking on the Start button, and after that clicking on the Control Panel. In the search box, simply type troubleshooter, and after that click on the Troubleshooting. Below Hardware and Sound, click Use a printer. You may as well attempt to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers and observe if it makes some disparity. You must be logged on as an administrator to execute these steps.

That looks like a pretty canister answer and truly did not assist much at all. Once more, I contain no troubles printing to my USB printer from the machine it is hooked up to. I have the most recent Windows 7 drivers from HP. I have no troubles seeing or managing the print line for spooler while printing from the machine the printer is connected to. The troubles appear related to the Print Spooler service and just while affording to print from one more computers which are accessing this shared USB printer. The additional computer as well has the most recent Windows 7 drivers from HP. The other computer in fact does productively render and submit the print work into the line because if I stop and restart the print spooler service, the lined work after that prints just well.

I am containing the exact similar trouble with a LaserJet 1018 functioning on Windows 7 Ultimate on two dissimilar machines. The printer works well from the host machine but the work will not print from the further Home group machine until the host computer is started again. I am utilizing the driver from HP made for W7 64 bit ultimate, not the general windows driver possibly that is the trouble.

I was encompassing the similar problem that a lot of have placed concerning printing to my HP LaserJet 1018 or alike printer by the use of Windows 7 Home group. I could print no difficulty through the host computer which is directly associated to the printer with a USB cable, but while I attempted to print from my laptop through the home group the print job would acquire wedged in the spooler. Later than searching and searching for a reply and calling HP for support I came crossways the answer to uncheck the Bidirectional Support on the ports tab and it lastly resolved the problem.

There are a lot of HP driver features we will not allow with the print drivers included in the product. The last part result is HP includes a limited feature driver and later than the OS is released they will contain a Full featured driver which includes functions not permissible by the built-in drivers. I throw a link to this answer to one of the HP driver developers who works out of the Redmond Microsoft site.
