From Audigy 2 ZS cannot hear sound from side outputs

I need to have a bang at my home. For that I am thinking to scamper a 4-way active speaker of the Audigy 2 ZS card with kxProject drivers. My system is currently running Windows 7. When I looked into the website I found that the Audigy 2 ZS is listed to have 7.1 support that mean we can have 8 outputs. For this I have done all the settlement and also performed the installation. Now I am getting only problem on accessing the last 2 outputs. The Analog Center/LFE outs, Rear outs and Front outs are working fine. I also found that I can use the headphone via the white connector on the board. So terminated this connector with RCAs and connect them to my amp. The trouble is whenever I use this white connector; it composes the analog front have the similar signal. The other thing is that they are physically connected in some way. Is there anyone who can find the correct path to solve this issue? Also tell me that what I have done wrong here? I will very appreciate for your advice.

I sorry to say this that I don’t have much idea about this technology but I will try my best to solve it correctly. As I know the last output on the board are side output and these are present at Out 30/31 on epilog. You can also notice that the jacks that are on the rear of the board are 4 pole jacks. For this you will need some kind of special or custom cable. You cannot access these extra outputs from the normal cable. If you have a user manual then go through that. There you will notice the things which are referred below.
Line Out 1 goes to front left, front right
Line Out 2 goes to rear left, rear right, and side right.
Line Out 3 goes to center, subwoofer, and side left.

You cannot get separate analog headphone output here. You can avail this only in some kind of drive bay stuffs.

Get the correct 4 –pole cables otherwise you cannot make it by yourself. Next plug that cable into analog outputs 2 and 3. If these output not going to make it for you then go through all the output available. How is your RCAs status, it showing any volts? Download the newer version of ProFX plugin. This plugin may include the "Side Out" setting on k2lt and it may produce output. How is your signal chain, is it looking good? What is your DSP configuration? What is your source as a signal? Can you connect peak plugins to the end of the signal chain?

For me it is nothing seems to be wrong in your connections but I am not sure about it yet. I think resetting the hardware will solve your problem. You can do the reset from the kX context menu. Also try to resetting the AC97, which also a page of kxmixer. Can it make any sense to your issue? If not double check the levels on the inputs and outputs page on kxmixer. I assume that there must be some kind of volume slider or rotators for the side outs with a2zs. Beyond that I don’t have much information to tell you.

As I gone through your problem I can assume that it may either be the fault in your Hardware or card or may be the issues that is related to Windows7 itself. Ask anyone about this who are using the same product on Windows 7. I think you have shorted the outputs by physically connecting 3-pole connectors into the 4-pole analog outputs 2 and 3. This would be possible in some condition. Are you using both FxBus and FxBusX? Don’t ever use both at once; use only one for better result.

I think you are out of luck. I have the same product in my home. I have used all the outputs from it and it is working fine. I think you may know that Wav Out 4 and 5 are hardwired to go to the SIDE OUTS. So in your audio program you have to mention what kind of sound you want to send to the side outs, which must be assigned to Wav outs 4 and 5. But using this out you can’t add or experience any effects. For in DSP you can make it in those 2 outputs. The actually what seems to be in your case that you are trying to take the stereo source and split it into 4 way and then again out to 4 different amps. This is out of luck as my concern.
