HP 6210xi Printer driver problem

I was using the Windows operating system from a long and currently switched from the Windows Vista to the Windows 7 operating system and the performance of the new 7 OS is far more greater than the previous one, the only problem that i occurred was of the printer not working properly in the Windows 7. I had a hp 6210xi Printer which i tried to connect with the my Acer Laptop which does not show a connection after the attachment. So, what is the problem with the printer and how can i over come these issue any suggestion on the topic will be appreciated.

As you have mentioned that you have switched from the Windows Vista to the Windows 7 Operating system so there seems to be a problem of the drivers that you have not installed in the new Operating system that you have installed. The hp printer requires a printer driver installation and these can be done form the DVD/CD that you have got with the printer. So, you just need to insert the CD/DVD in the system and then follow the instruction on the screen to update the operating system and your printer will work absolutely fine with the new OS.

The driver CD/DVD that you have mentioned above is not working with the new Windows 7 operating system. I have inserted the DVD in the laptop and then tried to update and install the printer driver in it but it failed badly. It seems that there is a problem in the DVD as it states that it will only work for the Windows Vista operating system. So, now i am unable to overcome the problem so please provide me some solution to overcome the issue any recommendation will be appreciated by me.

If you are not able to get the printer driver from the DVD/CD for Windows 7 OS then you can get the same driver from the hp website for the 7 OS. For these you have to first go to the hp website for that just clicked on the link given here for the download, after that you need to select the model of the printer from there and the operating system for which you want the download that is the Windows 7 (64 bits) in your case. After the download install the driver and then try to work with the hp printer these time you will get the solution.

If there is a problem in the hp website and you are not able to download the driver from there then you can update the previous driver of the hp printer for the windows 7 operating system these can be done from the Microsoft website. For these you need to first insert the hp driver DVD/CD that you have with you in the laptop and then start the installation after some time you will get a message as "you want to update the driver or not", then select the yes option and it will take you to the Microsoft website. On the Microsoft website follow the instruction to update the driver it will take some time for the process and you will the solution for these.

I have tried all the solution that you have provided above but the result was the same i was not able to get the printer working with the Windows 7 operating system. i also tried to update the same driver from the Microsoft website and tried to download the driver from the hp website but that also not worked for me. So, now what should i do overcome these problem any suggestion on the issue will help to fix the issue.

If you were not able to find the hp printer driver for the windows 7 OS from the hp website and the Microsoft then the option left with you is that you have to contact the customer care assistance of the hp printer and the Microsoft to get the solution. The alternative to these is that you can go to the services centers of both the hp printer and the Microsoft for further support and help, these will resolve your issue of the printer driver for sure.
