Epson Sx115 all in one

I am using windows Vista 32bit system. I am trying to install new Epson stylus SX115 to it. After the installation my system does not recognizing the printer to it. This is prompted by the software to connected the printed but after the connection it cant find the printer. I have downloaded the driver from the Epson website. Any suggestion regarding the solution of the problem.

I think you should use the printer manually to the system. Also try to check that the driver is installed properly or not. If not then reinstall the driver again to the system. If possible try installing from the driver CD which you may have got with the printer. Try this it may be help you to get the desired solution.

As your computer does not recognizing the printer which you have connected to it. It may be due to some problem with the driver which you have installed to the system. I will suggest you to install it again after uninstalling. If than also you are not getting the solution then try adding a new hardware through the device manager.

I have tried all this but did not get any solution yet. Even the sane driver I am using in the Windows XP based laptop and to that laptop it is working fine. The driver is same for the Windows XP and vista as it was described on the website. One more thing that I don’t have the driver CD unfortunately I have lost it. Any suggestion for this.

I can suggest you to try the following steps to do perhaps it may work:

• Turn off the user account control (UAC).
• After this use another USB cable to connect the printer.

As your printer did not detected by the system. I think you should download the driver to the desktop and after that disconnect your printer. Now reboot the system in the safe mode and install the driver properly. Than connect the printer to the system again. Try this process on the system you may get the solution.
