    HP Photosmart C4700 Series

Currently I am having a Mac OS X. And I have the HP Photosmart C400 series. Another mac has already installed the printer software and everything before me, but the installation guide it says that you can connect up to 5 computers. I install the software in my turn, prints etc. But impossible to scan anything at all! The printer says it failed to connect and another computer is already using the system. This should leave and I have to restart the system. Except that the problem remains the same.

As you are describing the problem, I think that the problem is related to driver. I think that the driver for your HP Photosmart C4700 Series is not installed properly on you Mac system. I will suggest you to download the driver from HP’s official site and install on your computer system. I am sure that this will solve your problem.

I think you should uninstall the software using any type uninstaller revo uninstal (this is only used as an example which you prefer) and that using the windows uninstaller that often leaves "traces" in the system (eg Windows registry intoxicating substances). After it verifies that the printer software is appropriate (that is right for your operating system) and reinstall everything back.

Well actually, this is not the priority for a printer but still, time to buy a product fun to watch? And the case of the latter, it is white and gray, with a small color screen. Before I wanted a multifunction printer, which is of course not expensive, but of a good quality. I am having printer scanner of high quality, and this time is all cute my little printer, not very large and good quality.

I think I am also facing this similar problem on my Mac operating system; I have done the setup as per the requirement but not through the normal procedure but through the use of USB connection for the wireless. But the thing is that the installation list gives the information that the printer is connected on network but the problem is that I am receiving the message that Mac system is not on the wireless network.

I think you should try to print the network configuration page through the front panel of printer that you are using. This will provide you information related to the IP address and the other related information. You just need to provide the details related to that. I need that information for providing any further solution, for the problem you are facing.

Thanks for the reply: I have followed the steps that you have suggested and the IP address that you have asked for is 192.168.2.10. I received this thing at the time I have install this thing through USB. The thing is that it is working on wired network but giving problem if I am switching to wireless option. I will be waiting for the related reply.
