The HyperMac Pure DC Car Charger comes with MagSafe and Mac are trademarks of Apple, Inc. So that shows that it is fully compatible with Mac systems. You does need to worry about the same. You can go on get any branded car charger for your laptop. The MagSafe cable and connector are manufactured by Apple and modified by HyperMac.

There are generic chargers. They are not as pretty as the Apple charger, they were not the small LEDs, they have no clips to wrap the cable around, but they work equally well. You can go on amazon and look for some similar brands. There are extra batteries too available for Macbook. I carry some additional batteries with me so that my systems wont get down.

You can use any MegaSafe charger. This cables are fully compatible with Mac system. I am right now using Apple 60w MagSafe Power Adapter for MacBook. The AC connector by magnetic coupling automatically disconnect the connector in case of excessive tension on the cord. It is specially designed for your MacBook. I got this from Amazon.
