Bluray BD-C6500 + Sony KDF-50WE655: HDMI connection problem

Here I have just recently purchased a BD-C6500 Blu ray player which I am trying to connect on Sony KDF-50WE655 TV. This is my old TV which I had purchased some time before. It was connected with a Sony DVD player before. Now when I connect this new one the blu ray player does not work on this TV. I am not able to see the output display on the screen.

That's the problem apparently the digital media port lets you connect to the TV and the Blu ray player. Try to replace the cable and get a new one for yourself. Then connect back and check. This issue was similar in my case where I am not able get display on my home theater support system. I changed some cable and setting worked here. Try that in your system also.

The tracks are played in HD & non-HD signals, that can be Dolby Digital 5.1 Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD and DTS 5.1. If the drive is configured for BR and used if the output is optical or coaxial only HDMI can carry the HD signals. The Digital Media Port lets you connect an iPod dock, WiFi or Bluetooth adapter. It does not have an optical input. You will need appropriate cable settings for that.

Possessed of a screen that is HD ready connected to my pc hdmi cable to read directly from dvix dvd and this one. Unfortunately, once the cable plugged in and the office windows that extended tv screen will display a blue screen rather than the screen of the computer. I need some help here in getting a proper output on the screen. I changed cable and checkout nothing works.

I have a LCD tv with GeForce 5700LE support on my PC. I use my TV screen as main screen without auxiliary. The connection is made, on the PC side then I have a DVI HDMI adapter, rated TV is HDMI. The screen display is not full but espite all the settings the output does not work. The resolution is not proper here. I had updated my graphics card but it's worse than before.

I have a Acer Inspire M3100 PC with HDMI and a JVC LCD TV with HDMI. I have connected via an HDMI cable in my TV screen was blue, nothing happens. I went on the desktop and went into display properties by right click > personalize > display settings. I had setup proper resolution and there it shows you settings for other monitor too. I had adjusted the setup and the same is working.

I had the same problem.
