    Socket 939 vs Socket 370

    Hi friends,

Can see from the name of the socket 370 pins. I found in the Intel processor cores and L2 cache is very cheap to do with the method, its CPU socket from the Slot back to the Socket. Is based on Socket 7 Socket 370 , It is only in the socket, but also in Socket 939.What is the difference between Socket 939 and Socket 370. Please reply. Thanks in advance.

Re: Socket 939 vs Socket 370

Socket 939 also known as Socket T, is used in Intel LGA775 CPU package, the interface corresponding to the current use of such interfaces with LGA775 package of Pentium 4, Pentium 4 EE, Celeron D, etc. CPU. With the previous Socket 478 CPU interface, different, Socket 775 CPU interface, not bottom of the traditional pin and replaced 775 contacts, that it is not pin-type contact type, Socket 775 with corresponding slots 775 within the root stylus contacts to transmit signals. All the best.

    Socket 939 vs Socket 370

AMD Socket 939 is the only company introduced 64-bit desktop platform interface standards, the current use of this interface with high-end Athlon 64 and Athlon 64 FX, CPU has 939 pins. Socket 939 processors and Socket 940 and the last slot is not mixed interpolation, but, Socket 939 CPU still uses the same fan system model, so before Socket 940 and Socket 754 for the fan can also use the Socket 939 treatment device. All the best.

    Socket 939 vs Socket 370

Intel Socket 370 architecture is developed to replace SLOT structure, appearance very much like Socket 7, also with zero insertion force socket, the corresponding CPU is a 370 pin. Intel's famous "copper" and the "Tualatin" series CPU is using this interface. Check and reply.

    Socket 939 vs Socket 370

Socket 370 motherboards are mostly used Intel ZX, BX, i810 chip set products, others have VIA Apollo Pro Series, SIS 530 series. Initially thought, Socket 370 for CPU upgrade capacity may not be very good, so Socket Sales are always better than 370 SLOT 1 interface board. However, Intel introduced the "Copper" and "Tualatin" series CPU, Socket 370 interface board changed the lower end of the image, gradually replaced the SLOT 1 interfaces. There are very few parts of the market with such a slot motherboard. All the best.

    Socket 939 vs Socket 370

Socket 370 specifications before and after several versions, and finally launched in 2002 to support the maximum clock Pentium III-S 1.40 GHz Tualatin-core processors, the FSB frequency is 133 MHz. VIA continued support Socket 370, untilC3Processor shutdown date, the processor sometimes directly above the weld on the motherboard. Check and reply.
