You will get installation disc with the same which needs to run. It installs the driver and thus the walky will work. It does not support some newer systems where you need to create a dial up connection on your own. Here you need to manually configure the phone settings and your user id and password acts the default access to the walky's internet connection.

The initial stage for using a dialer internet on mac is the driver update. You have to first checkout that the modem is available on the system or not. For this go in Apple menu > System > Network Preferences. In this you can choose the modem and thus your internet gets activated. If you does not find the modem here then it is not installed properly.

Go to Apple menu and then click on System Preferences. After that click on Network and double-click the connection type to configure.Choose the modem internet to connect the computer on the Internet on dialup, with integrated 56K modem. When installing Mac OS X, it is possible to configure their computers to connect to the Internet. Just follow the wizard.

The modem must be connected, installed and activated, which is automatically provided for in new models. After installing Mac OS X the Setup Wizard asks you to select from the following options which is Modem ISDN / analog, LAN , Cable modem, Airport, etc. You can stop the wizard and do that manually. Following the onscreen wizard might much helpful.
