    Want to buy HP Officejet Pro K5400

    Hello, I am in a search of a printer to use with home desktop on which i have installed a windows XP operating system. I have seen one model of the HHP officejet series called as HP Officejet Pro K5400. Actually i want to buy HP Officejet Pro K5400 but not before knowing all the facts about the this printer. Can you guys help me to know as much as possible?

    Dimensions of the HP Officejet Pro K5400 are 496 x 299 x 209 mm. Paper handling capacity of this printer are as follows.
    TRAY 1:
    For Paper it can handle 16 to 28 lb bond which is up to 250 sheets.
    Transparencies it can handle up to 70 sheets.
    Photo paper it can handle 75 lb bond which is up to 100 sheets.
    Envelopes it can handle 20 to 24 pound envelope which is up to 30 sheets.
    Cards it can handle 110 pound index which is up to 80 cards.
    Labels up to 100 sheets.
    TRAY 2:
    Only Plain paper up to 16 to 28 pound bond similar to 350 sheets of plain paper
    Duplex unit up to 50 sheets.
    OUT PUT:
    All supported media up to 150 sheets of plain paper (text printing).

    HP Officejet Pro K5400 : Speed.

    Printing speed of the HP Officejet Pro K5400 in a Draft Mode for Black printing is up to 36 after the first page and it is same for the Mixed text with color graphics. In Normal Mode for Black Printing is up to 16 after the first page and same for the color. In Best Mode for Black printing up to 5 after the first page and same for the color. In Laser Mode for Black printing up to 12 after the first page and up to 10 after the first page for color printing.

    Note that HP Officejet Pro K5400 runs only under the following environmental conditions:
    • Recommended temperature range is 15° to 32° C (59° to 90° F).
    • Recommended humidity range is -40° to 60° C (-40° to 140° F).
    • Operating temperature range is 5° to 40° C (41° to 104° F).
    • Storage temperature range is 25 to 75% non-condensing.
    • Storage maximum humidity range is up to 90% non-condensing at a temperature of 65° C (150° F).
