If the print quality of your documents is bad and that your cartridges are always full, it can come from a clogged printheads. All inkjet printers have a feature to clean the printheads. To do this, read the manual of your printer. Often this functionality is accessible via a tab or Maintenance Utility located in the dialog box print options. To do this:-
    • Open the Control Panel, then double-click the Printers and Faxes icon.
    • Then click the right button mouse on your printer, then choose Properties. Click the Maintenance tab.
    • One button cleaning or cleaning heads (the term may change from one printer to another) should appear. Then click over to clean up the heads of your printer.
    • Repeat the operation several times if necessary but be careful, this operation is expensive in ink. Do not more than five times.
    • You can also run a nozzle check if this option is available.

If nothing works, you can try to lead your print heads using a special solvent. This is especially true if your printer has remained out of service for several weeks. With the solvent, the ink dry your mouth and your cartridges printheads will be dissolved.

Get a syringe. All pharmacies have. Be sure that the needle is as thin as possible to avoid damage to your cartridges. Once in possession of the syringe, inject a dose of solvent inside your cartridges through the buffer that is under the cartridge. Then replace your cartridges in place, then wait a few seconds. Print pages to test the solvent reaches the printhead. After some tests, the print head should lead and thus allow you to find a better quality print.

If you notice any lag or staircase effect on your impressions, it means that your print heads are properly aligned. This phenomenon is especially obvious if you print the text. As for cleaning the printheads, all inkjet printers have a device to perform the realignment of printheads. Please consult your printer documentation for more information on this subject.

    4. Follow the instructions given on screen to print multiple sheets with features aligned.
    5. Then scan through every leaf on the ground that, in your opinion, is the most human traits. Indicate the program then these grounds, then click Realignment.
    6. A new alignment sheet is then printed to verify your choice.

Re: Inkjet clogged and misaligned print head

If your printer is connected to your computer via a parallel port (or LPT), it can use 100% of your CPU time during your impressions. In some cases, other open programs do more then meet during printing. This issue is related to the parallel port where your printer is connected. Windows does not support interrupts on the parallel port which leads him to use 100% of your CPU to your impressions.

The only solution to circumvent this problem is to abandon the parallel port to connect your printer to your PC and instead use the USB port. We must make sure your printer supports this connection type. If this is not the case, you can buy a parallel cable to USB converter to connect to your parallel printer into a USB port.
