Computer Hangs during burning from Sony DVD Writer

I am having the Customized/Assembled Computer system at my home and i have attached the Sony DVD Writer drive to this computer system. I am using the Nero Express Burning Software for the CD/DVD burning purpose from this DVD Drive. But i am getting the problem during the burning process with this SONY Writer Driver. The computer Hangs During the Burning Process. I don't know how to fix this problem, that's because i dont know much about the computer hardwares.

You are having the assembled computer system with the Sony DVD writer installed in it. And you are using the Nero Express software for burning the CD/DVD from this drive. The problem which you are getting is that your computer system is getting hang whenever you are trying to burn from this DVD Writer. So i think this can be the problem related with the operating system. Some time many processes run on the system at same time so that the system has to manage all the processes one by one. So to deal with this problem i will advice you that stop all the unnecessary processes running on your system before starting the burning process. Start the Task manager and close all the unnecessary programs running on your system.

If your computer is hanging all the times during the burning process then this is the problem of the lens of the Sony DVD Writer. The writer is not working properly. So the burning process does not starts properly, But the Nero software imagines that the burning process is going on. As the result for this the system does not responds to any of these two. So the system hangs up there. So it is better to check this DVD Writer with some other computer system.

If you are not able to Burn the DVD from the Sony DVD writer using the Nero express Software in the normal windows mode then i will suggest you to try burning the DVD's in the safe mode. Sometimes this works. Because once i was also having the same problem and i tried to burn the disc in the safe mode and this worked for me. So you can also try this may be it will work in your case too. This indicates that there is some problem with the softwares installed in your computer system which are creating problems in the burning process.

This can be the issue related to the Nero Express software which you are using for the burning purpose. May be the software is not responding to the process that you want to do with this software using the Sony DVD Writer. As the result the system is hanging in between the burning process every time. So you should reinstall the software properly by uninstalling it first. This can solve the issue related with the burning problem of the Sony DVD Writer.

You have not mentioned in your query here that which operating system you are using in your computer and the Nero Express software is compatible with this operating system or not. I will advice you to download and install the latest Software for burning CD's/DVD's using the Sony DVD writer drive of your computer system. Make sure that the software should be compatible with the operating system you are using in your computer system.
